These programs are developed based on industry standards and are designed to give students a deeper understanding of the world and help them build emotional intelligence skills — also known as soft skills — that today’s employers seek. A degree in humanities helps students gain critical-thinking, collaboration, written and oral communication, digital literacy and interpersonal skills that can be applied to any position in the workforce whereas a degree in science helps students gain highly valued technical skills along with critical social skills.
As a faculty member you’ll be challenged with adding your professional expertise to instruct a curriculum which is centrally developed with specific learning objectives.
