Opportunity Details


Lead efforts to develop and maintain flexible and extensible automation framework that supports multiple platforms, technologies and end points.


Design and maintain (operating) automated software deployment systems to maintain complex application, database and infrastructure code and configuration in (operating across) multiple environments across public and private cloud infrastructure providers; will also be involved in building, deploying, and configuring systems as part of these efforts. Provide technical expertise for automated integrations with existing infrastructure, application and web services. Lead software automation architecture, design and implementation initiatives and DevOps system operations management.

Lead discussions, hands-on demonstrations and educate others re: benefits of automating processes in more efficient methods. May provide technical direction and support to software engineers to orient them and increase their understanding of more complex, event based software engineering; and be responsible for project delivery to meet stated objectives within specified financial constraints.



  • Master’s degree or equivalent, in computer science or information systems

  • Use of APIs for cloud infrastructure management

  • Automated application configuration systems (Puppet and Chef)

  • Design, implement and maintain automated deployment platform using Chef Ruby, Puppet DSL, and Bash scripting for standardized implementation of multiple applications and database changes across multiple environments and infrastructure providers

  • Recommend, maintain and support software development tools (Subversion and Git source code repository, Jira development management)

  • Bamboo and Jenkins continuous integration, Artifactory and Nexus repository manager

  • Maven/ANT standardized project build

  • Foreman server lifecycle manager

  • At least 1 year in position offered or in sw release automation system design and operation

SALARY: $115,000 to $ 124,409 per year
